When: Saturday the 21st of April 2018, from 6.30pm 'til 8.30pm (food served until 9).
What: A gathering of cachers to talk caching, swap travel items (anything to leave the country? I'm off to Gibraltar in the morning) and caching stories, and enjoy the venue's hospitality. The venue has steps into the restaurant, so wheelchair access isn't ideal and there's no dogs - sorry - but they do welcomes children. There's also free wifi.
Why: The Winter Geolympix Countdown cache events are roadshow meets to promote the Winter Geolympix and talk about the plans we have for the best (tbc) Geocaching event of 2018! There's awesome night caching, stalls and stands, quirky photo-op caches, Europe's 9th oldest cache (England's 2nd oldest, UK's 3rd oldest) plus the UK's oldest Puzzle cache, the National Series Caches Challenge and much, much more!
Also: A theme of the Winter Geolympix is old caches - England's oldest (UK's 2nd oldest), GC171, is close by - and we'll have freebies to give out, plus goodies to buy if you'd like to help support the Mega. No pressure.
