We are happy to be at F.D. Roosevelt State Park for our first campout in 2019!
Did you get those same old pesky geocoins and trackables again for Christmas? Then bring them to FDR where geo trackable enthusiasts from around the world will be camping out for the
COINAPALOOSA II and you can trade your old trackables for some shiny new geo trackables.
Our camping event will offer a choice of activities due to the large crowd so everyone can enjoy their evening. This doesn't need to be said but, you'll see some of the MOST COVETED geocoins during the day, like the one and only,
official COINAPOLOOSA geocoin. But at night at our event, who knows what geocoins your lantern will illuminate. And, who knows which geocoins players will use to get anted up in our big GG-C Geocoin Poker Game! --> *RESERVE your chair for poker in your log.
Some camping geocachers will be arriving on the 1st to take full advantage of all the
Geocaches, and to find / trade / barter geocoins while they explore Georgia's largest state park. The only state park in the US with several equestrian only geocaches.
F.D. Roosevelt is
a beautiful and presidential themed state park, with lots of must visit POI's.
CAMPERS
We will have our very own loop in the campground (area #4) reserved for us. (tents and hammocks only) We have all the amenities of regular campsites (water, electricity) and a comfort station in our reserved loop.
**NOTICE FOR CAMPERS**
Please do
NOT make reservations with FDR State Park. You WILL need to reserve a camping spot with your "will attend" log. Simply stating,
"reserving 1 camp" will get you a spot. The camping fee is $25 per couple/family for the weekend (Friday and Saturday nights).
OTHER ACCOMMODATIONS
Prefer a mountain top view cottage / cabin and having accommodations unlike any hotel? Pulling a camper or driving an RV? Awesome, you just need to make reservations yourself through the
FDR State Park website or at the park's office in advance.

5:30 pm Stone Soup. (bring a can or another food item and add it to the pot over the fire & share dinner with us)
7:00 pm "Mystery at the Park" hosted by JunkingNGeorgia
8:00 pm The campers favorite and by popular demand, "The Jackpot Camper Drawing" (bring un activated trackables to participate)

5pm "Geo-Poker Tournament" hosted by Lowdollar (see game details below for more 411) *RESERVE your spot in your log, seating will be limited.
DON'T FORGET!
To reserve your camp.
To reserve your chair in the Big Georgia Geo-Campers Poker Game if you choose to participate.
To bring folding chairs, hot/cold beverages, snacks, flashlights and other nite time camping gear.
To bring extra trackables to leave and to trade for from the ones you find in geocaches.
A $5 gate fee, if you don't have
a park pass.
