THE MARYLAND GEOCACHING SOCIETY
cordially invites you to attend the Spring 2018
at
Elk Neck State Forest Arboretum
on
Saturday, April 28th
9am to 12 noon
Come join the Maryland Geocaching Society at the Elk Neck State Forest Arboretum for a Cache In Trash Out (CITO) Event on Saturday, April 28th at 9am.
This is an excellent opportunity to give back to Mother Earth by picking up trash and helping with trail maintenance at this great Maryland park. And since this is the last weekend of 2018's Earth Day CITO Week…
you will earn a souvenir by attending this CITO event!
(unless you earned one at GC7M2K0)
Two geocaches are planned to publish the day of the CITO for those who wish to explore the area further after the CITO event.
The schedule
9am–Noon: CITO and trail maintenance
Parking
Limited parking is available at the Park. Please carpool if you can.
What to bring
Trash bags and gloves will be provided by the park. You may wish to consider bringing handy items such as gardening gloves, old sturdy sneakers or knee boots, handi-grabbers, bug/tick spray, and plenty of drinking water. We have been asked to specifically help with planting trees.
