Rasar State Park is well into springtime and this is the perfect opportunity to jump in and help scotch broom and clean up the beach of litter.
This is a family friendly event so children and pets (on leashes) are more than welcome! The terrain can be wet in spots so please dress appropriately. Long sleeve shirts, pants, boots, gloves, possible raingear, etc. While the park will supply as many tools as they can, please feel free to bring shovels, pitchforks, etc!
The CITO will start at the parking area for the Day Use Area. From there you will be asked to head off down the trailhead. I will have as many tools as possible ready for eveyone's use at the listed coordinates.
We ask that you provide your own tools (pruners, lopers, pruning saws, etc.) for the trip, however the Park will provide what tools and gloves that they have available.
A Discover Pass is required and can be purchased at the Welcome Center or at the Pay Station when you enter the Day Use area.
