Geocache Description:

Visit our website, tristatetreasures.net.

And the clock strikes TWELVE!

Please include in your log what items (meat items for the grill, rolls, sides/salads, desserts, etc.) you'll be bringing for the pot-luck meal. This can include meat items to cook at the barbecue pit in our pavilion.

This is our 12th year kicking off the Summer geocaching season with our annual event very near the Tri-State point of PA/NY/NJ - a pot-luck picnic in a special location with great people and fun activities, and plenty of opportunity for after-event group caching for those who are interested. We'll be celebrating with events all weekend long.

Join us on Saturday, June 30, at 12 noon in Matamoras' Airport Park for TSTXII. Kick off the Summer season with our annual picnic, lots of geochat, and of course, caches. This is open to cachers and families and friends, anyone interested in joining in the geo-fun. The highlight of the weekend is the Tri State Treasures picnic with games and activities for people of all ages from specialized fun for the kiddies from our Children's Activities Director (including an activity for the younger ones that will reveal the coordinates for the rest of us for some special, new caches placed around the tri-state area), and our traditional activities like our Geo-Race, bison tube toss and our annual Ammo Can Toss event, with competition in three divisions: men, women, and kids. And don't forget to be part of our group photo and our geo-raffle.

The event activities will be over around 3:30pm but there are always folks hanging around and/or caching quite a while after.

Note: Airport Park doesn't allow dogs other than service dogs inside the fenced-in areas, which include the pavilion where the picnic is held.

Please include in your log what items (meat items for the grill, rolls, sides/salads, desserts, etc.) you'll be bringing for the pot-luck meal. This can include meat items to cook at the barbecue pit in our pavilion.
