Geocache Description:

Certainly not the most scenic view of Maquoketa, but every city needs a place to dispose of lawn clippings, leaves, and small branches. The southern view of the park is much better.

You are looking for an old fashioned cache (film container). The walk is harder than the hide.

PLEASE NOTE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. PORTIONS OF THE PARK ARE RENTED AND FARMED. PUBLIC ACCESS IS LIMITED TO:

1. 30 FOOT BUFFER AROUND THE FARMED AREAS

2. WALKING PATH ALONG THE RIDGE FROM THE SOUTH PARKING LOT.

3. OTHER MOWED PATHS.

PUBLIC IS NOT ALLOWED ON CROPPED AREAS WHETHER OR NOT CROPS ARE GROWING OR ON THE GRASSED WATERWAYS.
