Please join the Northern New Jersey cachers, NNJC, for a fun, rewarding, trail maintenance, CITO and optional picnic event at the Whittemore House (located at 7 Rockaway Road, Oldwick, NJ 08858): the former home of Helen Whittemore. It houses a Welcome Center, Artist-in-Residence Studio, Art Exhibits, Classrooms, Snack Bar, and Bathrooms.
Please bring work gloves, assorted rakes for mulshing the trails.

Everyone who logs an “Attended” at this Cache In Trash Out (CITO) Event earns this year’s 2018 CITO souvenir for their Geocaching profile.
In the fall of 2017, NNJC created & launched Whittemore's geocaching trail, covering 11 miles of marked trails that wind through woodlands, meadows, vernal ponds, and Rockaway Creek where you will you will learn about the history of Whittemore, the wildlife, and other nature facts.
OPTIONAL LUNCH: We will supply water for attendees, Please feel free to bring a lunch, and any beverage or food and snacks to share with you fellow Geocachers!
