Interested in joining in the fun of Geocaching’s Planetary Pursuit challenge, but unsure how in the world (or out of the world) you’ll gather enough points for souvenirs??? Events are worth 15 points, so figured I’d plan a few area events to help us along.
The Challenge: Find different geocache types to individually collect points between March 19 and April 8 and earn up to 10 new souvenirs to become an Official Space Explorer. Attending an event is worth 15 points!!!!
Costumes? Bacon? Discussing stellar constellations? Though all sound interesting, there will be none of the sort at this event. Or – none planned anyway. (If you’re interested in any of the above, I recommend checking out other “local” events during the Planetary Pursuit Challenge. See list below.) I’d love for someone to show up in a costume, though! Or, for that matter, to educate me on constellations :). (And…..everything is always better with bacon.)
Because it seemed to be a convenient and relatively quiet spot, we’ll meet at the food court in Columbia Mall for this event. (Same spot as GC7J3AW 3/2 Last cache day of the Month event.)
