Geocache Description:

English Version

Pellegrini Lake is an artificial reservoir that was originally a natural depressed area, possibly excavated by eolic forces. It was called Cuenca Vidal. Then, it was later filled with water brought by a derivation channel from the nearby Nequén River. Today is a lake for recreation, tourism and fishing, both sport and commercial, of Trucha Criolla and Pejerrey.

The Lake has only one road that go over its entire shore. We suggest you to make the hole trekking (very easy) and to stop when you find it more beautiful and to enjoy some mates. In summer, the locals usually enjoy the waters to refresh themselves too, so be prepare if you visit the Lake in that season.
