You will need a permit, (which is free), to access the property, and you'll need to pay a $2 fee at the entrance. To get your permit, call (352) 360-6675 and obtain the permit. Print it out and leave it on your dash. There are gobs of critters out here who can ruin your day, to include humongous alligators, venomous snakes, 80 bazillion species of spider, skeeters, ticks and chiggers.
Once in the forest and through the gate, the road to GZ is easy and straight on a nicely packed dirt road. 2WD should be able to make it and no custom pinstripes will be given out by mother nature. We will clean up the picnic area and branch out along the road and wooded area picking up any detritus found. After picking up the area, we will enjoy Pie that I will provide. Feel free to bring something if you wish, but not necessary.
