JR武蔵野線と東武東上線がここで交わります。
このあたりには、駅が開設された197０年代まで一面のニンジン畑が広がっていました。
今では宅地に替わっていますが、駅のロータリーには
往時を象徴してニンジンのモニュメントが建てられています。

Carrot fields take plece of a lot of houses now,
the monument in the shape of carrot is put in front of the station to symbolize.
