Time to show off your fancy footwork at our Country and Western Night! Get your best checked shirt and your cowboy boots on, and don’t forget your cowboy hat!
We have a full evening’s entertainment in store for you, led by the fabulous Jonny and Lynette, one of the UK’s best Country duo’s.
A chance to let your inner cowboy come out of the closet, show off your line dancing skills and your best Yeeeehaaaaw!
A superb hog roast will be served during the evening, and, of course, the bar will be open, serving drinks on tap and bottled. Food will be pre-order via our shop, full details will be announced shortly via this event page, so be sure to log your “will attend” to receive the notifications.
Jonny and Lynette
Jonny & Lynnette have worked hard to become one of Briton's best loved Country music duo's, travelling the length and breadth of the country from as far north as the rugged coast of Shetland to the equally picturesque shores of Cornwall.
Jonny started in the country music scene in 1998, winning numerous solo awards along the way for his traditional style of country music. Lynnette joined him to form their duo in 2009.
Since then the duo have won many awards including Duo of the year 2016 and Lynnette being awarded Female Vocalist of the year 2017
Jonny and Lynnette share the same passion and love for the traditional style of country music which reflects in their live shows, with Jonny and his Gretsch guitar adding that authentic 1950's sound and Lynnette with her double bass 'Maybelle' pickin' and a pluckin' the bass notes their shows are full of energy and fun.
With over seventy years of country music to choose from Jonny & Lynnette try to pick out some little gems of songs that have been forgotten about over the years from country greats such as Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, George &Tammy to more recent artists Dale Watson and Heather Myles to name only a few.
