Twentse landschap
Het Twentse landschap is adembenemend mooi. Van uniek natuurgebied tot uitgestrekt veengebied. Terug in de tijd; ooit wandelden hier de mammoet, de wolharige neushoorn en het laatste reuzenhert. Sterker nog, ooit was dit gebied zee, getuige de walvis- en haaientanden die af en toe nog gevonden worden. Nu is het unieke Twentse land een bonte verzameling van bijzondere landschapselementen. Zin in bos, heide, weide, beekjes en bronnen? Twente heeft het allemaal!
The Twente landscape is breathtakingly beautiful. From unique nature reserve to extensive peat areas. Back in time; the mammoth, the woolly rhinoceros and the last giant deer even walked here. In fact, once this area was sea, witness the whale and shark teeth that are still found here today. Now the unique Twente country is a colorful collection of special landscape elements. Forest, heath, meadow, streams and springs. Twente has it all!

Puzzel / Puzzle
Hier weer een aantal raadsels om goed over na te denken:
1) Spelletje spelen.
Miep gooit 5 keer met 2 dobbelstenen. Het resultaat per worp wordt berekend door het aantal ogen van de 2 dobbelstenen te vermenigvuldigen. Let op: niet door ze op te tellen. Dus als Miep 3 en 6 gooit, is het resultaat van de worp 18.
Miep gooit vijf keer met de dobbelstenen:
De tweede worp geeft 5 punten meer dan de eerste
De derde worp geeft 6 punten minder dan de tweede
De vierde worp geeft 11 punten meer dan de derde
De vijfde worp geeft 8 punten minder dan de vierde.
Hoeveel punten haalde Miep in elk van de 5 worpen?

2) Slome Slak.
Een slak bevindt zich op de bodem van een 20 meter diepe put.
Elke dag klimt de slak 5 meter omhoog, maar ‘s nachts glijdt hij weer 4 meter terug naar beneden.
Hoeveel dagen duurt het voordat de slak de bovenrand van de put heeft bereikt?

3) 'n Appel.
Je moet 3000 appels transporteren van Appelland naar Bananenland.
De afstand is 1000 kilometer.
De vrachtwagen kan 1000 appels per keer vervoeren.
Elke keer als je naar Bananenland rijdt moet je 1 appel per kilometer belasting betalen.
Wanneer je terug rijdt naar Appelland hoef je niks te betalen.
Hoeveel appels kan je maximaal naar Bananenland vervoeren?

4) De oversteek.
Vier mensen moeten midden in de nacht een brug oversteken in 17 minuten.
De brug kan maximaal 2 mensen houden. Het viertal heeft één zaklamp.
Iedereen die over de brug gaat heeft de zaklamp nodig.
Timo steekt in 1 minuut over, Petra steekt in 2 minuten over, Twan steekt in 5 minuten over en Marlies steekt in 10 minuten over.
Wanneer twee mensen tegelijk oversteken, gaan ze zo snel als de langzaamste persoon.

The distance is 1000 kilometers.
The truck can transport 1000 apples at a time.

When two people cross at the same time, they go as fast as the slowest person.
