This cache is part of the Linn Creek Trail: Marshalltown History series. Follow the bike trail to a series of caches highlighting prominent figures in Marshalltown history. Each cache will require you to leave the trail and search for a hidden cache. The caches in this series vary in difficulty and terrain.
Brad Clement
Brad Clement served as principal and baseball coach for the Marshalltown Community School District. He graduated from Newton where he played ball and went on to play at Mesa Community College for two seasons. Clement coached the MHS baseball team from 1980 – 1994, winning three state titles and five district titles. He was the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association Coach of the year in both 1985 and 1986. Brad is also a member of the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame (2004). In 1996, Clement managed his son Jeff’s Marshalltown Little League All-Star team to a berth in the Little League World Series.
