This will be our second Botswana CITO - this time to be held in the small but ever expanding village of Kavimba.
Meet at 11:00 on the 15th February at the above co-ordinates where there is ample off road parking at the picnic spot, ready to leave at 11:15 being the start time of the CITO. Kavimba has plenty of dustbins but the locals don't tend to use them, and so we would like to set an example by filling some of them up from the trash left lying around in the village. The CITO will last for one hour making a circuit through the village and ending back at the published co-ordinates. The village lies along the main tourist route that every visitor will transit through on their way to or from Savuti from Kasane or Ngoma.
We will provide rubbish bags and rubber gloves, but please bring your own gardening gloves should you prefer a more substantial form of hand protection. We look forward to meeting fellow geocachers for this event!
