PR1 #1 - Fonte Baixa Traditional Geocache

Esta cache integra um conjunto de 20 geocaches que visam dar a conhecer Castanheira de Pera, através de 3 powertrail’s (inseridos na rede de percursos pedestres), e um trajeto de ligação (entre a Vila e os Coentrais), com o desígnio de promover um território único, no coração da Serra da Lousã, que vale a pena descobrir.

Visit_Castanheira_de_Pera é um projeto que procura potenciar a oferta turística de Castanheira de Pera, valorizando o património natural, cultural e paisagístico deste território singular.

Ao longo do futuro percurso pedestre PR1 CPR – Rota dos Coentrais, com início e fim sugerido no Coentral Grande (sentido horário), podem encontrar 6 caches, sendo esta a primeira do conjunto.

This geocache integrates a set of 20 geocaches that aim to make known Castanheira de Pera, through 3 powertrail’s (inserted in the network of hiking trails), and a linking path (between the Vila and the Coentrais), with the purpose of promoting a unique territory, in the heart of the Serra da Lousã, that is worth discovering.

Visit_Castanheira_de_Pera is a project that seeks to diversify and promote the tourist offer of Castanheira de Pera, valuing the natural, cultural and landscape heritage of this unique territory.

Along the future hiking trail PR1 CPR – Rota dos Coentrais, with beginning and suggested end in Coentral Grande (clockwise), you can find 6 geocaches, being this one the first of the set.

Após a partida, na base da escadaria da Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Nazaré, seguimos pelo caminho empedrado entre o casario.

Daqui as cabeceiras da Ribeira das Quelhas impõem respeito.

Chegamos a um retiro.

A água brota de um pequeno orifício.

Uma fonte surge, ao fundo da escadaria.

Sentimos a frescura, e caminhamos em busca da alminha.

After the departure, at the base of the staircase of the Nossa Senhora da Nazaré Church, we follow the paved path between the houses.

From here the Ribeira das Quelhas headwaters impose respect.

We came to a retreat.

The water comes out of a small hole.

A fountain appears at the bottom of the staircase.

We felt the freshness, and we walked in search of the “alminha”.
