Geocache Description:

It's summer for our friends Down Under and on January 26 they are celebrating Australia Day, which marks the anniversary of the 1788 arrival of the First Fleet of British ships at Port Jackson in New South Wales and the raising of the British flag at Sydney Cove by Governor Arthur Phillips. Let's join them in celebration by enjoying some tasty BBQ as we come together to share caching stories, trade travelers, seek advice, and in general, just have a good time with our fellow geocaching friends.

Who:
Everyone! Whether you have only one cache find or 20,000, feel free to join us for some caching comradery.

Why:
To eat yummy food, talk geocaching, and trade bugs. Those who wish to may also do some geocaching before or after the event.

Extra things to keep in mind:

If you pick up a Travel Bug or trackable coin at an event, make sure you log it out so it doesn't show up in the events list. If a trackable sits as being listed in the event for a couple of months, the cache owner is the one that gets the e-mail from the TB owner(s).
Each person attending will be responsible for any costs incurred for food and drinks.
