Caching and Camping 2018

9:00 am to 10:00 pm

Load up your GPS and camping gear, invite your family and friends to join the North Dakota Geocaching Association for a fun filled weekend of Camping and Caching at Icelandic State Park, located near Cavalier, North Dakota.

Other events will be published at a later date for the following:

• Breakfast Event on Sunday, June 24th (GC7PRAG)

Agenda:

9:00 AM - 3:00 PM  Registration/Bingo Card

9:30 AM - 3:00 PM Geocaching/scavenger hunt and/or socializing about past adventures

3:00 PM - Turn in Bingo Cards and Scavenger Hunt items

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM  Activity - Geocaching Games

5:30 PM   Group Picture

5:45 PM - 7:00 PM  Potluck Dinner - NDGCA will provide hotdogs, Brats, buns, plates and silverware, water

Please bring a side dish/dessert to share.

If you want to bring your own meat, there will be grill space available.

All vehicles must display a valid park entrance permit:

• Daily vehicle entrance fee = $7

• Annual vehicle entrance permit = $35

Camping/Lodging Information:

• Reservations can be made starting March 20, 2018. We are planning on the South Loop near site 60 (http://www.parkrec.nd.gov/parks/isp/isp.html)

• Electric and Water Hookup = $25/night

• Campsite no hookup = $17/night

• Cabin = $55/night (3 cabins available)

• Nearby Hotel: Cedar Inn
