Turpinot tradīciju, 2017. gada 29. Jūlijā, Lielvārdes novada svētku ietvaros, tika atklāts Goda krēsls Arvedam un Verai Paeglēm. Arveds Paegle (2018. gadā – 110. jubileja) un Vera Paegle (2017. gadā – 100. jubileja) ir Latvijā pazīstami Lielvārdes jostu audēji – Tautas daiļamata meistari. Pateicoties viņiem latvju rakstu zīmes un Lielvārdes josta tika aktualizēta un ieguva jaunu nozīmi. Arveda un Veras Paegļu darbs ir veicinājis Lielvārdes jostas atpazīstamību ne tikai Latvijā, bet arī aiz tās robežām, rosinājis citus amata meistarus pievērsties Lielvārdes jostu aušanai un zīmju izzināšanai, popularizējis Lielvārdes novada vārdu. Katrā Lielvārdes jostas fragmantā ir ieausts kods - latviskās dziņas, ziņas, spēka un aizsardzības zīmes. Krēsla autors metālmākslinieks Aldis Lambergs.

Continuing the tradition, on July 29, 2017, during the celebration of the Lielvarde district festival, the Honorary Chair Arveds and Vera Paegles were discovered. Arveds Paegle (110th anniversary on 2018) and Vera Paegle (100th anniversary on 2017) are the well-known peoples like Lielvārde Belt weavers - folk art masters. Thanks to them, the Latvian characters and the Lielvarde Belt were updated and acquired a new meaning. Arveds and Vera Pegles work have contributed to the recognition of Lielvarde belts not only in Latvia, but also beyond its borders, has encouraged other masters to focus on weaving and marking of the Lielvarde Belts and popularizing the name of Lielvarde region. In each of the Lielvardes belt fragments there is a woven code - Latvian characters, strength and protection signs. The author of the chair is the metal artist Aldis Lambergs.
