About SideTracked Caches
This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It’s a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website
About Central Station
Central Station is the hub of transport in Sydney and the state of New South Wales. The station opened in 1906 and has undergone extensive modifications since electrification in the 1920’s. It is the terminus for train services to country New South Wales, the hub for suburban train services, the end of the light rail and a coach terminal. The Grand Concourse for country services is well worth a visit.
The station is located on the southern fringe of the CBD. Over time development has moved further away towards the Harbour and Darling Harbour.
Central Station is the largest railway station and transport interchange in NSW and is of State significance for its historical and aesthetic values. The building is Neo-Classical in style with high quality workmanship and a range of materials which reflects its historical significance. The clock tower is a notable landmark and recently restored to its original condition.
GZ is located in a busy corner close to the north eastern station entrance. There are few places to conceal as construction of a new light rail line has taken over much of this area at the moment.
Muggles may be a challenge but the cache is easy to find in the spirit of SideTracked caches. Please return it safely to its hiding place for others to find.
