A few years ago, CNN did a report about the most beautiful bike trails in the world and the bike path around Sun Moon Lake made it in the Top 10! And as you ride the bike from Shuishe Visitors Center to Xiangshan Visitor Center, even though this part of the bike trail is only around 2.5 km one-way, you will see why this beautiful place is one of the most famous wonders not only in Taiwan but the world.
This series of 10 geocaches were all placed from the Bike Path beginning at the Shuishe Visitors Center and ending at the Xiangshan Visitors Center. You can of course continue beyond the Xiangshan Visitors Center as the bike trail keeps on going, and if you're up for the adventure, you can definitely ride around the entire lake — about a 30 km journey with a lot of ups and downs. The part of the bike path that this series is on, however, is the easiest part of the bike trail, and the ride is quite flat and enjoyable. If you plan to just ride from the Shuishe Visitors Center to the Xiangshan Visitors Center and find the caches along the way, it will take you about an hour or so.
There are bike shops everywhere that rent all kinds of bicycles to all age types so you will have no problem finding a bike that suits your need and style.

Please note that this area can get very crowded on weekends and holidays so please plan accordingly. Also, each of the caches in this series is a bison tube with magnet and the caches were hidden in such ways way to allow for the most "natural grabs" — meaning you should be able to stand near a corner and casually reach under.
