There is a Silver Lining Traditional Geocache

The cache is overlooking one of the most visible waterfalls in Saint John. It is a popular swimming hole in the summer, but is spectacular during the spring melt.

There used to be two approaches to this cache, however the only one remaining requires getting your feet wet and a bit of climbing, but gives you a great view of the falls.

From Saint John, take the Loch Lomond Road and park in a turn-about across from St. Joachim's Church. Head in a southerly direction until you hit one of two pathways to your right. Follow a grassy path and follow the sound of water. It is approximately 414 m. to 'Silver Falls'. Once you find the first falls, head upstream to another larger set of falls and follow the coordinates. You will have to cross the stream above the falls and you will get your feet wet! Be very careful in the springtime!!

Since this location is popular with the muggles during the summer, make sure the cache is concealed well.

For a while there was an easy way to the cache from Champlain Drive, but this is now barred by a new chain link fence. Don't attempt to circumvent the fence, take advantage of water pool and have a swim before and or after locating the cache. At least enjoy the view of the falls while giving your feet a soaking.
