La reconstruction de l'église telle qu'on la connait à l'heure actuelle s'est achevée en 1898.
En 2006, l'église fut classée aux monuments historiques.
[EN] In 1872, the old church was considered too small to accommodate the summer crowds, and a total reconstruction project by the architect Lavallée-Duperroux was decided.
The interior decoration was entrusted to Norman artists such as the Jacquier brothers for the stone sculpture and the Duhamel Marette workshop, which will supply 51 stained-glass windows.
The reconstruction of the church as we know it today was completed by 1898.
