A flash mob happens when a lot of people gather together all at once, in an unexpected way from the point of view of others in the area. A Cache Mob happens when a group of Geocachers get together - you never know what will happen next.
The Event Schedule will be:
7:00am - Act like a "virtual person" - use your imagination to adapt your character
7:05am - Continue with Meet & Greet at parking coordinates - exchange TBs and tales
7:10am - Sign log and take picture
7:30am - Event over - disperse - go forth and cache on
Cache Mobs are a quick-moving event with little time for socializing, but anyone who wants to stay on afterwards and enjoy the day on a road trip to Skyline Drive for the tracking down 3 virtual caches on the Skyline Drive in Virginia (At the Rock, Stony Man Cliff, and White Oak Canyon) while chatting with your fellow geocachers are welcome to do so! The three hikes will be about 1 mile, 3 miles, and 5 miles. We look forward to seeing all of our geocaching friends and meeting those of you whom we've not had the pleasure of meeting yet out on the trails!
