LAT:

ENG:

Klusais dārzs (Quiet garden) is located between Jēkabpils, Daugavpils, Lazdonas and Katoļu streets. The area of the garden is 4.7 ha.

The Quiet garden was opened in 1960 in the place of the former cemetery and it was named "The Kiev park". The park was created after a project of K.Baron; old buildings were pulled down, paths and recreation spots were created, bushes and flowers were planted. During the construction of the park many of the old trees that grew in the cemetery's territory were preserved. Only maple and linden trees grow in the Quiet garden.

The All Saints Church is separated from the garden with a fence.

In 1990 the garden gained its present name - The Quiet garden.
