Along with networking, we thought this would be a great opportunity for cacher’s to share in some basic geocaching functions and tips & tricks to enhance the caching experience. We connected with a few cachers and developed a starting list that people seem interested in learning and exploring further; some of these topics are: Mapping (OSM); Pocket Queries (PQ's); GSAK; Projections; Pathtags/Travel Bugs; Tracks; Caching Etiquette; Cache Maintenance; CITO's; TOTT; Etc.
Come connect with new and old friends and share in the topic of the evening...this event topic will be exploring the wonderful world of Pocket Queries and how it makes life so much simpler! This event will start with the very basics of PQ's and be most relevant to those who are unfamiliar with this tool.
The venue, 4521 Dogwood Street, has Wi-Fi capabilities; please feel free to bring your laptop.
Event Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Coffee/Tea and Water will be provided
A suggested donation of five dollars per caching team/household would be appreciated to cover the cost of the facility rental.
