Have you ever been out geocaching and dropped the log? It's happened to all of us, but we bet our "dropped the log" story is a bit different from yours..
Johnny Geocacher was out geocaching, hoping for a First To Find. He was on his way to ground zero when he pulled over for a quick pit stop. Just as he pulled the door shut, he realized that he had forgotten to grab his latest copy of FTF Magazine back in the car. He pushed on the door, but it wouldn't budge. He pushed and pushed again, face flushed and sweat trickling down his face. It was stuck. Darkness was closing in, only the moon and the stars could be seen. "Wow, this really stinks! Well, I guess I'll finish what I came here to do."
Luckily, another geocacher pulled over for a nature call also on his way to the latest FF2017 geocache. As he approached the door, he called out "Anyone in there?" Johnny replied, "Hey, get me out of here, I'm stuck!" Recognizing Johnny's voice, he realized that with Johnny trapped in there, HE had a chance at the nearby FTF.
However, when he looked down at his GPS, he realized that he WAS at Ground Zero, and after a careful look around, it seemed to him that the log was likely on the inside with Johnny.
"Unlock the door - I need to see the log!"
Johnny was puzzled, but made him a deal...
"What? Like I told you, the door is stuck. But I'll make you a deal - if you let me out, I'll drop the log."
