Geocache Description:

Part of the SideTracked Railway Station cache series. Please note the original cache and location has changed and therefore some photos will not help you.

Norwich Thorpe station was designed to look like a large house. At one time there were three railway stations in Norwich: Norwich Thorpe, which is the current station still known locally as "Thorpe station" Norwich Victoria, which was once the terminus for certain passenger services from London until 1916 as well as being a goods station until its demolition in the 1970s Norwich City, which was the terminus of the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway line from Melton Constable, which closed in 1959. Please replace cache properly so its out of sight. Please remember to bring a pen.
When I'm out caching I carry a supply of replacement log sheets so that I can help out the cache owner by carrying out any maintenance that's required.

If anybody would like to replace any logs that need urgent servicing in my caches, please do so.
