Geocache Description:

The coordinates bring you to a popular water blow site located on Peninsula Island, Nusa Dua, South Kuta. Please note that there will likely be a small charge for access, access may be altered during festivals, and on occasions when the sea is very rough, the boardwalk may be closed and the water blow impossible to view. See below for instructions to log in that case.

Geocaching and Earth-caching are meant to be a fun family experience to introduce interesting and unique locations such as this one. It is not intended to be intimidating and your answers do not need to be 100% correct but we appreciate you at least putting in some effort with your answers, log and accompanying photos. Flexibility on logging requirements can only be applied if it can be established that you have actually taken the time to visit the site.

EarthCache Description

At the posted coordinates you will see a Water Blow signboard. The water blow phenomenon has become a popular tourist destination in Bali. This EarthCache investigates the distinction between the water blow here and a blowhole in term of geological perspective.

Blowhole

In geology, a blowhole is formed as a sea cave grow landwards and upwards into a vertical shaft and expose itself towards the surface, which can result in blasts of water from the top of the blowhole if the geometry of the cave and blowhole and state of the weather are appropriate.
