Make plans to attend the Arkansas River Valley Matinee
of the 2017 Geocaching International Film Festival!

On November 2-6, 2017 thousands of geocachers will take part in a global geocaching movie experience. The GIFF 2017 reel will contain an hour of carefully selected finalist films made by geocachers, for geocachers. This is the Third Annual GIFF Event to be held in Russellville, and it will be the ONLY GIFF event in Arkansas this year. So come and join us at the posted coordinates (i.e., at Western Sizzlin’ in Russellville) to see these films. By attending, you will also earn a virtual souvenir from Geocaching HQ for GIFF 2017.
The event will be held in the meeting room located at the back left side of the restaurant. As you enter the restaurant, just ask the employee at the checkout counter and they will be happy to point you in the right direction. It will be the larger of the two rooms there, the one with the large flatscreen TV.
Enjoy lunch and the viewing with your fellow cachers and put in a vote for your favorite film afterwards. Please note that each attendee will be responsible for his or her own food and drink. The manager of the restaurant has agreed that persons attending this event will not be required to purchase anything. However, please do not bring your own food or drink into the restaurant.
Please post your "Will Attend" note with number of attendees in your party by Noon on Thursday, November 2nd so that the restaurant will know how many to expect and be ready for us with a sufficient number of waiters and table settings.
NOTES
The event starts at 11:00 AM
With the films beginning at approximately 11:45 AM.
The films have been described as being family friendly.
The films will run approximately one hour.
The event is over at 1:30 PM.
