Geocache Description:

This multi will take you to some of Mount Pleasant's murals where you will gather clues to find the cache. All stages are within a few blocks of Main and Broadway.

Note: currently a less pleasant experience due to Broadway subway construction in the area.

Final: N 49 AB.CDE' W 123 G.HIJ'
The final is located within a few blocks of the other stages.

Stage 1:
This mural was painted by Will Phillips. How many triangles in Science World's dome are filled in with yellow? This number + 2 is the answer for G.

Stage 2:
This mural on the side of a grocery store was painted by Emily Gray. The cycling theme connects to its location on the 10th Avenue bike route. Add the number of bicycles with the number of eggplants and the number of seated paddlers in the dragon boat. Divide the resulting number by two. Take this as C.

Stage 3:
Look at the south side of the box. Take the number of hot air balloons, then subtract the number of pineapples. The answer is your number for D.

Stage 4:
Look across the street to the west to the mural on the north-facing wall, painted by Drew Young and Jay Senetchko. The section on the left, painted by Young, depicts a Mount Pleasant woman named Paisley, surrounded by flowers. The section on the right, painted by Senetchko, depicts Bob, a local optometrist. There is a five word phrase: THE _____ IS A GIFT. How many letters are in the word that fills in the blank? Take this number as H.

Stage 5:
Look south over the roof to the mural above, painted by Kashink, a street artist from Paris. How many eyes does the figure have? Be sure to only count the ones on the head. Take this number as E.

Stage 6:
There are three murals at this location. Looking north, you'll see a colourful animal mural painted by Taka Sudo. Looking east, you'll see a mural with the words "Mount Pleasant". Looking west, you'll see the mural “Zhawenjigewin (Love in Anishinaabe)” painted by Sharifah Marsden and Corey LaRocque. Multiply the number of animals in the Taka Sudo mural by the route number on the streetcar in the Mount Pleasant mural. Take the answer as J.

Stage 7:
The "stay yummy" mural has been painted over. I is 5.
Stage 8:
The giraffe mural has been demolished.

Stage 9:
Look west to the mural "Travelers in the Space Canoe", above the coffee shop, painted by Northwest Coast artist Bracken Hanuse Corlett (Wuikinuxv and Klahoose Nations). You will see two figures with a rain cloud between them. How many raindrops are below the cloud? You should have a two-digit number. Take this as AB.
