About SideTracked - Buffalo/Depew Station


The Buffalo-Depew Amtrak station was built in 1979. This station is located near the site where in 1893, Empire State Express Locomotive #999 attained a top speed of 112.5 miles per hour making it the fastest locomotive of its time. Service from this station is provided to the cities of Boston, New York, Chicago, Niagara Falls in the United States, and Toronto in Canada.
