Preparing for Winter Caching!
The leaves are turning, the rain is falling, and the air is chilling. It's time to prepare for Winter Caching! To help get you ready, local cacher farmergang will provide a number of tips and tricks in this fast-paced and fun-filled presentation. While summer caching is great, there are many aspects to winter caching that turn it into a whole new game. No bugs. Foliage is out of your way. Swamps are frozen over. And there are fun ways to get out and about, such as snowshoes, skis, and even snowmachines. This event is perfect for new cachers as well as old hands; and the young through the ancient. We look forward to seeing you there!
This event will be carried live over the internet via WebEx with audio over a phone line. GeocacheAlaska! Sourdough Members who cannot attend an event site can link in remotely. Contact the Webmaster for instructions on how to do so.
