Pohyblivá socha Franze Kafky
Piazettu nového obchodního domu Quadrio u Národní třídy v Praze zdobí od října 2014 pohyblivá socha z umělecké dílny výtvarníka Davida Černého. Tvoří ji 42 otáčejících se pater, jež se v jeden moment spojí ve tvář spisovatele Franze Kafky, jehož celý život byl spjat s Prahou.
Mechanická hlava je tvořena z 252 větších konstrukčních segmentů, téměř jednoho kilometru kabelů, 1.500 m² nerezového plechu zrcadlového lesku a více než 16.300 kusů spojovacího materiálu. Pohyb sochy zajišťuje 42 synchronních motorů

A moving statue of Franz Kafka
A square of the new shopping center Quadrio near National Evenue in Prague is decorated by moving statue since October 2014 from artistic workroom of artist David Černý. This statue is constituted by 42 rotating floors, connecting in one moment in face of writer Franz Kafka, whose whole life was connected with Prague.
Mechanical head is formed by 252 big structural parts, almost one kilometer of cables, 1500 m2 of stainless steel of mirror shine and more than 16 300 pieces connecting material. Move of statue provoked by 42 synchronous motors.

Una plaza de nuevo centro grandes almacenes „Quadrio“ cerca de Avenida Nacional es decorado a estatua movible de Octubre 2014 de taller de arte de artista David Černý. Es formado a 42 plantas girandon, que conectan en un momento en la cara de Franz Kafka, su toda vida era juntado con Praga.
Una cabeza mecanica es formada de 252 partes de construcción grandes, casi un kilómetro de cables, 1500 m2 de acero de inoxidable de brillo especular y más que 16 300 trozos de material conección. 42 motores syncrónicos provocan el movimiento de la estatua.

Die Piazetta des neuen Kaufhauses Quadrio an der Nationalstrasse in Prag wird seit Oktober 2014 mit einer beweglichen Skulptur erschafften durch Kunst-Workshop des Künstlers David Cerny geschmückt. Sie besteht aus 42 rotierenden Etagen, die sich in einem Moment in das Gesicht von Franz Kafka verbinden, desen ganzes Leben mit Prag verbunden war.
Der mechanische Kopf besteht aus 252 größeren Struktursegmenten, fast 1 Kilometer Kabel, 1500 m² glänzendem Edelstahlblech und mehr als 16.300 Verbindungselementen. Für die Bewegung der Statue sorgen 42 Synchronmotoren.

Dall'ottobre 2014, nella piazzetta del nuovo centro commerciale Quadrio, vicino a Viale della Nazione, a Praga, è posizionata una statua mobile, creazione dell'artista David Černý. L'opera è costituita da 42 parti rotanti, che si muovono costantemente fino a formare, per qualche secondo, l'immagine del volto dello scrittore praghese Franz Kafka.
La testa meccanica è formata da 252 grosse parti strutturali, quasi un chilometro di cavi, 1500 metri quadri di acciaio inossidabile e riflettente come un specchio e più di 16300 part che connettono i vari materiali. Il movimento della statua è dovuto a 42 motori sincronizzati.
