Geocache Description:

Burnaby Lake Weedbusters has organized an invasive weed pulling event for CITO Week. Meet in the Avalon parking lot of Burnaby Lake Regional Park at 1:00pm. The event will conclude by 4:00pm. The entrance to the large parking lot is off Cariboo Road.

We will be pulling English Ivy, some Scotch broom, and possibly Himalayan Blackberries. All needed equipment is provided so all you have to bring is your Geocaching enthusiasm and appropriate clothing, including good footwear.

A snack will be provided.

For those who haven't already walked and geocached the Burnaby Lake trails, there are scores of nearby caches to find either before or after the event.

There will be a CITO log and a permission slip (for liability). This activity is being coordinated through Burnaby Lake Weedbusters and in cooperation with Metro Vancouver Regional Parks.
