You may be able to find closer parking with a launch, but I don't know if they are private, so I'm listing the official PWA for this one. It's just under a mile from the PWA, around the point, through the channel, and to the island. As with all island caches, this is in a potentially dangerous location and seeking it is done at your own risk. The island is public property and you should feel comfortable searching for the cache there.
