This gate is the DNR vehicle entrance into the forestry roads on the Northern slop of the west end of Rattlesnake Mountain, just a few hundred yards from the Rattlesnake Mountain Trailhead, and the Snoqualmie Point Park. You do not have to go beyond the gate at all. If you have not been in this area, the view from the Snoqualmie Point Park just east of teh Rattlesnake Mountain Trailhead has a great views of the Snoqualmie Valley. There are also a few more caches in the area, for your early morning dancing pleasure.
You cannot access this from I-90. You must exit at exit 37 if east bound, then immediately turn right on Winery Road. If coming from the east, you must exit at exit 31, and then turn north into North Bend, then west on North Bend Way. From Winery Road, you can only get back on I-90 westbound. Find your way to eastbound I-90 by heading east on North Bend Way, to Bendigo Blvd, then south to I-90 (past the outlet mall)
