As a big fans of science fiction, the visit to Dettifoss will remain one of the highlights of our 15 day trip to Iceland.
When we were preparing our trip, we were surprised and excited to be able to come and visit the filming site of the Prometheus Prologue. We were very excited to get to this stage of our trip. We were not disappointed and, thanks to this virtual reward, we wanted to share this fantastic souvenir with you.
What a sensation of being on the same rock as the Engineer!
But above all what a feeling to be next to this superb waterfall !
Although it is not the highest that we have seen during our stay (only 44m), it will remain one of the most striking if not the most striking, by its impressive power. Its status as the most powerful waterfall in Europe is easy to understand!
To log in this virtual cache, nothing complicated, just place yourself at ground zero, where the sacrifice scene was shot and take a picture of you (or your GPS) with the Dettifoss waterfall behind you! (But be careful not to get too close by doing your selfie!)
