Mit diesem Virtual habe ich mir lange Zeit gelassen, schließlich sollte es etwas wirklich schönes werden.
Unser erster Urlaub in Lateinamerika führte uns unter anderem in eine der einsamsten Andenregion in Argentinien, die Puna.
Um den Virtual zu heben, geht es von Tolar Grande über einen riesigen Salzsee, den Lago Salar de Arizaro, am markanten Vulkan Cerro Aracar vorbei bis zum Abzweig der RP 163 Richtung Chile und Vulcan Socompa.
Dort zweigt auch die offizielle Zugangsstraße zum verlassenen Örtchen Caipe ab, einer früheren Bergarbeitersiedlung.
Einer der beiden Zugänge ist mit Felsen verschüttet, sodaß man ca. 70 m weiter links auf eine alternative Zufahrt abbiegt (oder die offizielle Straße nimmt) und den Spuren folgt, beziehungsweise die letzten 100-200 Höhenmeter zu Fuß geht. Ein 4x4 Offroader ist hier obligatorisch!
Den letzten Teil zu laufen ist zu empfehlen, da die Straße nicht oder nur schlecht gewartet ist und bei ungünstiger Witterung Schnee den Weg versperren kann. Außerdem liegt auf dem Plateau eine Menge Unrat auf den Wegen, Metall, Scherben. Nicht gut für die Reifen des Geländewagens, der einen wieder heimbringen muss.
Oben gibt es viel zu entdecken und eine Menge Fotomotive für Leute mit Faible für Lost Places und rostiges Metall. Der Kontrast zur Umgebung und dem tief unten ruhenden Salzsee ist atemberaubend.
Um den Virtual zu loggen, begebt Euch an die besagten Koordinaten und macht ein Bild von Euch vor dem Bahnhofsschild.

Con este virtual me tomó mucho tiempo, después de todo debería ser algo realmente hermoso.
Nuestras primeras vacaciones en América Latina nos llevaron a una de las regiones andinas más solitarias de Argentina, la Puna.
Para levantar el Virtual, va desde Tolar Grande sobre un enorme lago salado, el Lago Salar de Arizaro, pasando por el llamativo volcán Cerro Aracar hasta el cruce de RP 163 hacia Chile y Vulcano Socompa.
La carretera oficial de acceso a la aldea abandonada de Caipe, un antiguo asentamiento minero, también se ramifica desde allí.
Una de las dos entradas está cubierta de rocas, por lo que hay que girar a la izquierda unos 70 m más adelante por una carretera de acceso alternativa (o tomar la carretera oficial) y seguir las pistas, o caminar los últimos 100-200 m a pie. Un 4x4 Offroader es obligatorio aquí!
Se recomienda caminar la última parte, ya que la carretera no está bien mantenida o sólo está mal mantenida y puede bloquear el camino con condiciones climáticas desfavorables como la nieve. Además, hay mucha basura en la meseta de las carreteras, metal, cristales rotos. No es bueno para las llantas del SUV que tiene que llevarte a casa.
Arriba hay mucho que descubrir y muchos motivos fotográficos para personas con un punto débil para lugares perdidos y metal oxidado. El contraste con los alrededores y el profundo lago de sal es impresionante.
Para registrar el virtual, diríjase a las coordenadas mencionadas anteriormente y sáquese una foto de sí mismo frente a la señal de la estación.

With this virtual I took a long time, after all it should be something really beautiful.
Our first vacation in Latin America took us to one of the most lonely Andes regions in Argentina, the Puna.
To lift the Virtual, it goes from Tolar Grande over a huge salt lake, the Lago Salar de Arizaro, past the striking volcano Cerro Aracar to the junction of RP 163 towards Chile and Vulcan Socompa.
There, the official access road to the abandoned village of Caipe, a former mining settlement, splits off.
One of the two entrances is covered with rocks, so that you turn left about 70 m further on to an alternative access road (or take the official road) and follow the tracks, respectively walk the last 100-200 height meters. A 4x4 offroader is obligatory here!
To walk the last part is recommended, because the road is not or only badly maintained and unfavourable weather conditions can block the way with snow. In addition, there is a lot of rubbish on the plateau, metal and shards on the roads. Not good for the tyres of the 4x4 which has to bring you home again.
Above there is a lot to discover and a lot of photo motives for people with a faible for lost places and rusty metal. The contrast to the surroundings and the salt lake beneath is breathtaking.
To log the virtual, go to the coordinates mentioned above and take a picture of yourself in front of the station sign.
