When Disneyland first opened its gates in 1955, it provided its visitors with magical memories that would stick with them forever, and it continues to provide this same experience to this day. Whether it be going on one's favourite ride, or meeting the Mouse himself, everybody who has been to Disneyland has at least one exciting memory that they will never forget. Over the years, the welcoming sign that greets every person as they arrive at the "Happiest Place on Earth" has gone through many changes, and this historical marker on Harbor Blvd. is the focus of this Virtual Cache. The sign is easily accessible to those travelling to the park, or just visiting the Downtown Disney area. Be sure to view the Cache gallery to see how the sign has changed over the years!
In order to log this Cache, you must visit the Disneyland sign and take+post a picture of either yourself or your GPS in front of the sign. We will also accept a picture of yourself at your favourite place in the park or with your favourite character ... TRY to have your GPS is in the photo.( We understand our GPS is sometimes our camera! ;) ) Feel free to share your favourite Disneyland memories and photos as well!
Note: This cache does not require the purchase of park tickets or any form of admission. The sign is accessible along the sidewalks of Harbor Blvd. and one can enter Downtown Disney free of charge.
