Am 24. August 2017 überraschte mich Groundspeak mit einem Mail, welches mich zum Owner eines von 4'000 Virtual Reward machte. Zum Zeitpunkt des Erhalts der Nachricht hat das MEGA Switzerland – Meeting Friends 2017 gerade begonnen.
Nach 2014 fand auf der Grossen Allmend ein weiteres MEGA mit Dosenfischer, Camping, LAB-Caches, Spiel und Spass und vielem mehr statt.
Wir erlebten auch 2017 ein tolles und auch ein heisses MEGA Weekend, das mir lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.
Meinen Virtual Reward widme ich dem ganzen Team von Meeting Friends für die tolle Zusammenarbeit und Freundschaft. Nur mit Euch allen waren die tollen Events in 2014 und 2017 zu organisieren! In vielen Stunden haben wir diese Anlässe organisiert und sind auch nicht Müde, ein kleineres Event in diesem Jahr zu organisieren.
Ich widme diesen Virtual Reward aber auch allen Helfern und Freunden von uns, welche uns immer hilfsbereit und tatkräftig unterstützt haben! Ohne all die vielen Helfer sind solche Events nicht machbar!
Da die Events nur noch in der Erinnerung vorhanden sind, möchte ich Euch als etwas Greifbares das Schloss Frauenfeld zeigen.
Das Schloss Frauenfeld liegt im Süden der Frauenfelder Altstadt über dem Ufer der Murg. Der 19 m hohe Bergfried aus grossformatigem Mauerwerk wurde im ersten Drittel des 13. Jahrhunderts errichtet; im 14. Jahrhundert kamen weitere Anbauten hinzu. Wikipedia
Heute ist im Schloss ein historisches Museum untergebracht. Plant Euren Besuch doch von Dienstag bis Sonntag von 13.00 – 17.00 Uhr, dann könnt ihr das Schloss besichtigen und die Aussicht vom Turm geniessen. Der Eintritt ist frei.
Um diesen Virtual zu loggen braucht es nicht viel. Geht zu den Ankerkoordinaten. Von hier aus habt Ihr einen tollen Blick auf das Schloss und den Rathausturm. Dies haben wir auch schon gedacht, als wir die Will Attend T-Shirts ins rechte Licht rückten.
Macht ein Foto von Euch oder Eurem GPS zusammen mit dem Schloss Frauenfeld. Wenn Ihr dabei noch etwas dabei habt, was Euch an Meeting Friends (Männli, Woody, T-Shirt) erinnert, dann wäre dies besonders schön.

On August 24, 2017 Groundspeak surprised me with an email that made me the owner of one of 4,000 virtual reward caches. At the time of receiving the message, the MEGA Switzerland - Meeting Friends 2017 had just begun.
After 2014, another MEGA took place on the Grosse Allmend with the band Dosenfischer, a camping area, lab caches, fun and games and much more.
Also 20017 we had a great MEGA weekend in 2017 with hot temperatures, which will be remembered for a long time.
I dedicate my virtual reward cache to the whole team of Meeting Friends for the great cooperation and friendship. Only with you the great events in 2014 and 2017 could be organized! In many hours we organized these events and are not tired of organizing a smaller event this year.
I dedicate this virtual reward also to all the helpers and friends of us, who have always supported us helpful and energetic! Without all the helpers such events are not feasible!
Since the events are only in the memory, I would like to show you the castle of Frauenfeld, which is tangible and stable.
Schloss Frauenfeld is located in the south of Frauenfeld's old town above the Murg riverbank. The 19 m high castle keep was built in the first third of the 13th century with large-scale masonry; In the 14th century, other additions were added. Wikipedia
Today, you will find a historical museum in the castle, which is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 1 to 5 pm and enables you a splendid view from the tower. Admission is free.
It does not take much to log this virtual. Go to the anchor coordinates, where you have a great view of the castle and the town hall tower. We also did it to present our new 2017 "will attend" t-shirts.
Take a picture of you or your GPS together with the castle Frauenfeld. If you have something that reminds you of the event Meeting Friends (the two little man, wooden coin, T-shirt), this would be especially nice to show it.
