Mikhail Sholokhov is known all over the world as the author of the novel “And Quiet Flows the Don”. He was awarded a Nobel Prize for it. The monument you are looking at, was inaugurated on the 24th of May 2007, on the author's 102nd birthday anniversary.

The first mandatory task is to write to the cache owner to which cardinal (or ordinal) direction the majority of the horses are heading (e. g. East, South-East, etc.). Do not publish the answers in the log.

The second mandatory task is to publish a picture of yourself and the sculpture in your log. Your face is not required in the photo.

The third and optional task (mandatory only if you do not fulfil one of the above mandatory tasks) is to find out and send to the cache owner the name (as minimum family name) and the occupation of at least two more historically important and/or famous people who in any way are connected to this place. Do not publish the names in the log, please!

This cache is created for the memory of great five years that we have lived in Moscow and is dedicated to three ladies - our friends, Olga, Sasha and Lena, who first showed us the place that we immediately have fallen in love with.
