Karlatornet kommer att bli Nordens högsta byggnad (245 meter) när byggnaden är färdig 2021.
Karlatornet kommer att bli 73 våningar. Tornet vilar på 58 stycken 2 meter breda betongpålar som gjuts cirka 60 meter ner till urberget kommer att se till att tornet klarar vindar och andra påfrestningar. Pålarna kommer att förankras i bottenplattan som kommer att bli 3.75 meter tjock.
Karlatornet kommer att vara en del av den nya stadsdelen Karlastaden. Karlastaden kommer att innehålla 8 kvarter, inklusive Karlatornet, och en paviljong. Karlastaden beräknas vara färdig 2024.
För att få logga geocachen skall ni utföra följande uppgift.
1. Ta ett kort på tornet från valfri plats.

The Karlatower will be 73 floors. The Karlatower will stand on 58 2 meter wide concrete piles that are thrown approximately 60 meters down to the bedrock will ensure that the tower is able to handle winds and other stresses. The piles will be anchored in the bottom plate which will be 3.75 meters thick.
Karlatower will be part of the new Karlastaden. Karlastaden will contain 8 blocks, including the Karlatower, and a pavilion. Karlastaden is expected to be completed in 2024.
In order to log the geocache, you must perform the following task.
