A pleasant 6.5 mile stroll along part of the route of the old Elsworth Excursion; this new route doesn't involve any cows but you may encounter some horses at the end after cache 36.
Route: We start off at Knapwell before taking the footpath out of the village towards Coldharbour Farm before heading down towards the road. From there we head along the road before picking up the footpaths again to start heading towards Elsworth. This footpath brings us out in Elsworth where we walk through the village and back onto the footpaths that take us back to Knapwell. A quick stroll through Knapwell which then takes us back to the start.
There are a few hundred yards of roadwork about half way and through Elsworth village but the majority of the walk is field margin footpaths.
Roadside parking is available at the parking coordinates. Alternatively park at Knapwell church or in Elsworth.
All caches are hidden to be found but please replace all caches as found with suitable camouflage.
