The event will begin in the zoo classroom with a brief introduction to geocaching, along with some tips and tricks of the game for beginners. Please feel free to sign the event log book as you check in, and pick up your game sheet. These will be located on a table in, or in front of, the zoo classroom. The log book and game sheet will be available between 9:00 and 11:30AM.
Limited GPS units will be available for those who don't have one and would like to find out more about this fun and addictive family-friendly activity.
Several new caches will be unveiled and made available for finding throughout the Zoo area for this event. FTFs (“First-to-Find”) will be available for the event, so come early if that interests you. The zoo opens at 9:00AM and closes at 5:00PM. Feel free to stay after the event to find the rest of the caches, enjoy lunch, and visit with the animals.
