Os marajoaras ou cultura do Marajó foram uma sociedade, já extinta, que floresceu em Terra Brasilis nas imediações da Ilha de Marajó e do Rio Amazonas na era pré-colombiana.
O Jardim Marajoara é um bairro no distrito de Campo Grande, na cidade brasileira de São Paulo. Muito arborizado e extensão natural do bairro Chácara Flora, muitas vezes é confundido com o mesmo, que está localizado no distrito vizinho de Santo Amaro. Ambos os bairros são divididos pela Avenida Washington Luis; real limite estipulado entre os distritos de Campo Grande e Santo Amaro, fica próximo dos bairros Vila Mascote, Jardim Prudência e Chácara Flora.

A Marajoara legend tells that there was a geocacher who loved swags. One time he left with a bunch of them and came back with none.
They asked him what had happened to the swags. He replied "For every friend I had I gave half of my swags one more!"
