Welcome to the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission's 2017 Geocaching Adventure! This year, we have placed nine geocaches in our properties throughout the county. Your mission is to find them, note the code words listed inside each cache and, once you have found all nine caches, contact us via the Send Email option on Geocaching.com with your complete list of caches and related code words. Those geocachers who complete the adventure will receive a special collectible. But wait! There's more! One of our geocaches is a mystery cache. To find it, you'll need to collect the coordinate segments from three different caches. One of our 2017 caches is also a little more challenging than a traditional hide, so prepare to be challenged! If you're gunning to be our FTF this year, be sure to email us your list of code words as soon as possible! Now head outside and have a wonderful Adventure!
The cache is not at the posted coordinates. The WCP17 - Rolling Hills cache is our Mystery Cache. In order to obtain the actual coordinates, you will need to locate the three coordinate segments hidden in three of our eight other 2017 WCP caches. Be sure to watch for these carefully! When you have the actual coordinates, please take care in putting the cache container back; there is a lot of natural camouflage that must be put back, covering the cache, to keep it hidden and fun for future visitors. Please note that it is IMPERATIVE to return the log book to its baggie and to COMPLETELY seal the baggie. Thank you!
There is a fee to enter Rolling Hills Park.
Congratulations to HelloLola, the FTF this cache!
