There were a growing number of Catholic immigrants in Zenon Park and, in the fall of 1910, this prompted Father Pascal to set out on foot from Tisdale to visit them. The first mass of the parish of Our Lady of the Nativity was celebrated in François Soucy’s log cabin.

The first resident priest in the region, Father Émile Dubois, from Rambouillet Seine in France, arrived in 1911. In 1913, the first church was built on a piece of land donated by J.B. Bérubé, where the southern end of the cemetery is now. In 1930, the church and the presbytery were destroyed by fire. Only the bell remains.

Les immigrants catholiques devenant de plus en plus nombreux à Zenon Park, en automne 1910 le Père Pascal partit de Tisdale à pied pour venir les visiter.  La première Messe de la paroisse Notre Dame de la Nativité fut célébrée dans le « shack en pôles » de François Soucy.

Le Père Émile Dubois de Rambouillet Seine, France, venu en 1911, fut le premier prêtre résident de la région. En 1913, la première église a été bâtie sur un terrain, don de J.B. Bérubé, là où la partie sud du cimetière est maintenant située. En 1930 l’église et le presbytère ont été détruits par le feu. Il y reste la cloche.
