Date: Sunday, 20th August, 2017
Venue: Carlingford Bowling Club, cnr Pennant Hills Rd and Evans Rd, Carlingford
Time: 10:30am for the AGM (GeocachingNSW members only), approximately 11:00am for the Meet’n’Greet where all geocachers are welcome to attend.
Transport: Carlingford Railway Station is close by and there are bus services that pass the club.
Dress: It is a club, so please dress appropriately, including footwear (thongs are not permitted.) Don't forget to sign in as you enter the club.
Dining: Meals from the club’s bistro are available from 12:00pm.
At the AGM, reports will be tabled discussing the Association’s activities for the past year as well as the financial status of the Association. This will be followed by the election of the new committee to steer the Association for the coming twelve months. Nominations are open for the committee. Meet'n'Greet:
After the formalities of the AGM have concluded, we will enjoy a Meet'n'Greet where all geocachers are welcome to attend. This is a great opportunity to catch up with geomates, meet new people and make friends with a common interest, pick up the latest information on equipment, techniques and software and share stories about the latest caching adventure. You may even grab a hint or two on those annoying DNFs or puzzle caches you can’t seem to solve. This event will conclude officially at approximately 12:00pm.
Available for purchase will be the Association's 2017 Geocoin. This year's geocoin features the Goulburn area, with the GeocachingNSW logo on one side and the reverse featuring the Big Merino.
