SLAGA Fall Picnic 2017 Event Cache

Team_State would like to welcome you to 2017 SLAGA Fall Picnic.

This year, the picnic will be held at Lewis and Clark State Historic Site on Saturday, September 16th. starting at 10:30am.

Half an hour northeast of St. Louis across the Mississippi River, this historic site memorializes Camp Dubois, where pioneers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark camped during the winter of 1803 to 1804. Situated on the banks of Mississippi River, the site hosted the Corps of Discovery as they prepared for their expedition to the far reaches of the American West. The site has an interpretive center with six galleries, a theater and a gift shop. Don't miss the full-scale replica of Lewis and Clark's Missouri River keelboat and a reconstruction of the Corps' campgrounds near the visitor center.

MENU:
This year we are going to try something a little different; Fried Chicken and Pulled Pork.

When placing your "will attend" log please let us know What meat you would like, this way we can make sure there is enough for everyone.

THINGS TO DO:
Bike and caching trails. We will be at the center point of "The MCT Confluence Trail " this trail starts at Mckinley brigde and ends in Alton for you die hards. Or a nice leisurely walk down to the river front. Who knows what you might find along the way.

DETAILS:
SLAGA will be supplying the Fried Chicken and Pulled Pork and buns along with condiments, plates, napkins and utensils. We ask that you bring a side dish or other food to share and your drinks. Check list below for what others are bringing.
The prices will be as follows:
• SLAGA Premium Member Adults $5.00
• SLAGA non-Premium Member Adults $7.00
• Kids 5-12 $3.00
• Kids 4 and under free

We will be having a 50-50 drawing (you must be present to win), Geo Bingo, Silent Auction, Travel Bug Table, and Closest to the Pin contest.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
• 9:30 a.m. - Set up.
• 10:30 a.m. - Registration begins.
• 12:30 p.m. - Lunch begins.
• 1:30 p.m. - General announcements and business, Milestone Awards, and Premium Membership drawing.
• 2:00 p.m. - Silent Auction bidding ends and all games close.
• 2:15 p.m. - Silent Auction, 50-50, all game winners announced.
